At the end of January this year the former Mornington Leisure Centre was occupied by a group of community activists, artists and general misfits with the aim to turn the space, which had lain disused for the past two years, into hub of creative activities.

Since it has been open the building has hosted dozens of workshops, exhibitions, benefits (raising thousands of pounds for international and local causes), theatre performances, a kickass cabaret and a whole lot more!

If you want to stay updated with all the weekly classes and events happening @ Le Squat Sportif why not sign up to our mailing list

If you’d like to host a workshop or have an idea don’t hesitate to contact us as we want to fill the space with as many amazing events as possible. This will be the buildings “Swan Song” as the owners are applying for planning permission to convert this iconic Camden building into flats. So let’s make it big and let’s make it beautiful.

What’s that you say, you’d like to help make this project a success…

Well that’s good to hear as this is a DIY space and we need all the help we can get. Here’s our e-mail if you’ve got skills to share or just have a general question
